Murray - The Boy
This page is dedicated to the memory of Murray, our first French Lop.
13-2-1999 - 5-9-2003

Little did we know what an effect Murray would have upon our lives when we brought him home......

Above: Murray as a youngster
Murray was bred by Jean and Brian Lynch and sold to us when he was around 3 months old. We immediately fell in love with him and his breed - he was a rabbit who transformed our lives. He became a French Lop Champion at shows and went on for a while to become our Stud Buck.

In later life, dental problems occured and it was this that eventually became a contributing factor that caused his death.

Above: Resting in the sun - then getting up to mischief!
Losing Murray left us heartbroken. Murray was much admired by many visitors but ultimately was a friend to whom we owe so much, and life is no longer the same without him.

The
Dance
Dave
Koz
Looking
back on the memory of
The
Dance we shared ‘neath
the stars above
For
a moment all the world was right
How
could I have known that you’d ever say goodbye
And
now I’m
glad I didn’t know
The
way it all would end
The
way it all would go
Our
lives are better left to chance
I
could have missed the pain
But
I’d
have had to miss the dance
The
Dance
The
Dance
I
would have missed the Dance
Holding
you I held everything
For
a moment wasn’t
I a king
But
if I’d
only known how the king would fall
Hey
who’s
to say you know I might have chanced it all
And
now I’m
glad I didn’t know
The
way it all would end
The
way it all would go
Our
lives are better left to chance
I
could have missed the pain
But
I’d
have had to miss the Dance
The
Dance
The
Dance
I
would have missed the Dance
